OpenAI's No-Code AI Agent Builder is Here
Google just killed organic discovery. OpenAI quietly built the platform that replaces it.

Hey there,
OpenAI isn't building features anymore.
They're building a platform that could replace how you work, create, browse, and discover things online.
And while everyone's trying to process all the new things happening in the AI ecosystem, there's a much bigger shift happening that changes how AI businesses get built and discovered.
Let’s talk about it.
AI Agent Builder and ChatGPT Apps
At DevDay 2025, OpenAI just launched its AgentKit.
This kit has an Agent Builder – create AI agents without writing any code. Just drag, drop, and connect to any API you want. It’s still in beta mode, but their chatkit is available for all.
They also released an Apps SDK that lets you embed their entire chat interface into any website in minutes. It's open-source.
What really intrigued me was the Apps inside ChatGPT.
You can now interact with Booking, Spotify, Canva, Figma, and more directly inside the chat. ChatGPT suggests the right app based on what you're talking about. No tab switching. No leaving the conversation.
This isn't a chatbot anymore. It's becoming a browser alternative. Maybe an operating system.
They recently also released Sora 2 and GPT-5 Pro through their API. Sora 2 is already live on platforms like Krea, Higgs, and Fal.ai. On Fal, you can even use your own OpenAI key instead of paying their markup.
What One Person Built in 2 Hours
Let me show you how accessible this is getting.
A creator named Phil made an entire music video using AI. He threw his plot into Sora 2 to test different camera angles and shots. Generated about 10 videos.
In one of them, he liked a musical phrase. Threw it into Suno with the audio. Generated the full lyrics there. Assembled everything in DaVinci.
Two hours later, he had a complete music video. People thought it was a real Kanye West track.
Total cost: $21 ($15 for GPT + $6 for Sora). Total time: 2 hours.
This is what's possible right now. Professional-grade content that used to take weeks and entire teams.
You can easily do stuff like this too, the tools exist. The question is whether you're using them before everyone else figures it out.
They're Not Stopping at Software
OpenAI isn’t stopping at just software; they recently acquired Roi, an AI investing app that does portfolio management and financial advice. Only the CEO is joining the team.
Before that, they bought hardware firm io and analytics startup Statsig.
The pattern is clear: They're building into every part of your digital life. Investing, analytics, hardware, productivity, and entertainment.
92% of OpenAI's own engineers now use Codex (their coding assistant) consistently. Their pull requests increased by 70%. And 100% of PRs are now reviewed by AI.
If the company building AI is using AI for everything, what does that tell you about where this is going?
But Here's What Nobody's Talking About
While everyone was watching OpenAI's announcements, Google quietly made a change that broke how AI businesses get discovered.
They removed the num=100 search parameter. This used to let you see 100 search results instead of 10. Now the hard limit is 10.
Here's why it matters: Most AI models – OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity – scrape Google's results to feed their systems. By cutting access to results 11-100, Google just made 90% of the web invisible to AI.
According to Search Engine Land, 88% of websites saw their impressions drop overnight. Sites ranking outside the top 10 basically vanished. Reddit's citations in AI responses dropped sharply. Smaller sites disappeared completely.
This isn't just about SEO. Your potential customers can't find you. AI systems can't cite you. You're invisible.
What This Means For You
Here's the pattern: Google made organic discovery almost impossible. Meanwhile, OpenAI created a new distribution model – apps inside their platform that get suggested contextually to millions of users.
If you're still waiting for people to find you through search, you're playing the old game. The one that doesn't work anymore.
Here's what you should be focusing on instead:
Build for the platform. Use OpenAI's Apps SDK to get inside ChatGPT. Get in front of their users directly. The ecosystem is brand new – first movers have a massive advantage.
Stop relying on search. With Google's change, organic discovery is broken. You need direct channels – partnerships, communities, platform integrations.
Move faster than everyone else. The tools are democratized now. Everyone has access to the same AI. Your only advantage is speed. You have 6-12 months before this becomes obvious to everyone.
Think workflows, not features. Agent Builder lets anyone automate tasks without code. Build integrations that connect multiple services, not isolated tools.
Use AI internally first. If OpenAI's engineers saw a 70% productivity increase with Codex, you should be using it too. If you're not using AI to build faster, your competitors are.
The game changed. Most founders haven't noticed yet.
OpenAI isn't just releasing features. They're building the platform where people will spend their time. Google just made it nearly impossible to get discovered outside that platform.
The smart founders are building apps for ChatGPT, integrating into the ecosystem, and getting in front of users where they already are.
You've got maybe six months before this becomes obvious to everyone. After that, the advantage disappears.
So what are you building? And where are you building it?
