Pair it with the SEO Audit skill above and you have a research workflow that used to require expensive tools and hours of manual digging. Now it runs from your terminal.
5. Jasper / Copy.ai / Writesonic ($49 to $125/month) < Copywriting + Article Writing Skills (free)
Two free skills cover what these platforms charge monthly subscriptions for. The Copywriting skill handles marketing page copy, headlines, CTAs, landing page text, and sales copy using proven conversion frameworks.
The Article Writing skill handles long form content with a two stage research and drafting process.
It enforces 8th grade readability, varies sentence structure for natural rhythm, integrates web search for real time fact checking, and has built in AI slop prevention that catches and replaces overused AI vocabulary.
Together these two skills replace the entire content generation workflow that tools like Jasper built their business around.
6. Adobe Acrobat Pro ($23/month) < PDF Skill (free)

What This Means For You
First, audit your subscriptions.
Check every SaaS tool you pay for monthly, and ask one question: Is this tool's core job to take input and produce a structured output?
If yes, there is probably a skill for it.
Start with the one that costs you the most and use the 30-day parallel test.
Second, if you are building something, understand what’s actually dead and what’s not.
Tools with real-time data, live integrations, multi-user collaboration, or compliance requirements are not going anywhere.
But if what you are building is essentially a template generator with a dashboard, you should be having an honest conversation with yourself right now.
Third, the most interesting opportunity here is not saving money.
It is the skills nobody has built yet for your specific industry or workflow. The community has built 1,200+ skills mostly for developers and writers.
The legal, healthcare, logistics, and finance skill libraries are still thin.
If you have domain expertise in any of these areas and you know what structured outputs matter, that is a real opportunity.
